Guinness award winner for 2010
Motivated by a love and dedication for one of the most typical products from Tuscany, in the 1960’s, Aldo promoted the “Sagra Del Porchetta” (Porchetta Fair), an event of International importance which every second weekend of September in Monte San Savino gathers together the curious and lovers of genuine flavors from all over the world.
Thanks to his tireless dedication and mastery, in 2010 Aldo won the record for the longest porchetta in the world (44.93 meters) entering into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Preparation of the Porchetta
Attention to the first phases of production
The traditional preparation starts in the first phases of production – from the choice of pigs to the cooking in the wood ovens fired with aromatic laurel and heather branches, which exalt the flavors and fragrance of the meat, rendering Aldo’s porchetta tender and juicy.
