“Sapori della Valdichiana” is a family run business which, for over 50 years, has offered typical food products such as porchetta, prosciutto hams and other cold meats, all cured with natural and organic methods.
Immersed in the pristine hills of the Valdichiana, we carry on the food traditions of our ancient land, maintaining intact the system of traditional production with constant attention to hygiene and overseen by the most strict inspections during all the phases of production.
Open spaces and healthy food
With patience and love, Aldo Iacomoni raises his animals with vegetable based feed, locally grown cereals and acorns from the nearby forests.
A passion and desire to communicate the genuine flavors of his lands to the next generations has led Aldo to recover a breed of pig that is on the verge of extinction, the Siena Belted Pig which is raised in the woods near Monte San Savino in Tuscany.
In Milan in 2016, Aldo Iacomoni was conferred the title of “MAM” or “Master of his Art and Profession”, thanks to his love of tradition and his ability to adapt his business to the requirements of the third millennium.
This extraordinary award, promoted by Alma, The International School of Italian Cuisine, is given to persons who are recognized as achieving excellence as masters in their field .
